Girls Varsity Soccer · Senior Girls Soccer 2020

With the sudden ending of the spring seasons, we have reached out to the coaches/parents to send in pictures of the 2020 Seniors who seasons got cut too short or all together. This week we are remembering the girls soccer program. Good luck the rest of this school year and to the next adventure that is coming your way……..

Riley Porter- soccer highlights

2nd team all league defender 2018.

Honorable mention all league utility player 2019.

2020 team captain

From a coaches perspective. In my opinion Riley has one of the best leadership qualities anyone can have, not only for sports but anything in life. That is, leadership by example, by action not words. I can’t recall her ever making excuses or backing down from a challenge. Riley has a positive attitude that is truly contagious coupled with an unrelenting desire to learn and be better. Only having played soccer a couple of years, Riley is proof that determination and will really does conquer over almost  everything!  I really believe that she has the ability to accomplish anything in this world because has figured that part out. She is the motivation that keeps coaches/teachers/teammates/people going.

Although our season wasn’t able to happen, Riley will continue her soccer career at Johnson County Community College. She plans to study environmental engineering and transfer to K-State.
