Weekend Results Feb. 2nd-3rd

What a weekend for your PIRATES!! Forensics, basketball, wrestling, cheer, powerlifting, and band were all on display! Basketball traveled to Tonganoxie for a KVL match-up and took 5 of the 6 games! Girls swept the Chieftains 63-13 (V), 51-13 (JV) and 52-27 (9). On the boys side, they took the first two games 67-53 (V)

Piper Forensics Takes 2nd at Lawrence

It was a busy second weekend out for the Piper High School Forensics team.  Overall, the team took second in sweeps, dropping to Lawrence Free State by only 11 points. Improvised Duet Acting: Ally Viera and Marcus Wallace 2nd and qualified for State Champs. Amelia Stella and Gracie Petzoldt 5th Program of Oral Interpretation: Chris Baumli 3rd

Piper Courtwarming Week!

 Piper HS is ready for Court Warming 2018!! Seniors Riley Apperson, Sophia Frick, Aubree Knetter, Jessica Hutchings, Emma Golden are the Queen candidates. King candidates are Seniors Bryce Yoder, Gabe Dandar, Drake Martin, Isaiah Washington, and DOC Covington. Queen and King will be announced during the halftime of boys game vs. Bonner Springs on Feb.

Record Breaking Night!

 What a night to be a PIRATE!!! Piper Jr. Aaron Slaughter broke the school record for a series with a 766!!! Congrats to Aaron. The boys bowling teams (V/JV) took 1st place. Leading the V was Slaughter with a 766, JV had three placers; (1) Holladay with a 483, (3) Brandt with a 458, &

Basketball From Last Night

Your Piper Pirates travelled to Basehor-Linwood last evening for a full slate of  KVL games. Pirates won 4 of the 6 games on the night. On the boys side, V lost a tough game 68-75 with great performances from Sr. Covington putting in 21 points; JV boys won their game and score was not available
